  • The Finance Operations Specialist will deliver daily assistance to business unit clients and suppliers throughout the procure-to-pay cycle while identifying opportunities for process enhancements and comprehending corporate frameworks, business relationships, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Resolve a variety of complex escalated issues efficiently.
  • Ensure prompt and precise invoicing and collection of outstanding payments, along with banking deposits.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate client records and suggest improvements to enhance invoicing and collection practices.
  • Oversee the invoice processing to guarantee timely payments.
  • Examine client documentation to confirm appropriate systems setup and adherence to accounting standards.
  • The Finance Operations Specialist will ensure accurate recordkeeping of purchases for tax preparation and periodic audits.
  • Provide training and support to Accounts Receivable/Payable team members as necessary.
  • Establish a tracking system for data receipt and source documents.
  • Monitor and report on updates in payment standards.
  • Prepare and organize source documents, interpreting data for entry.
  • Engage with document preparers to clarify questions, discrepancies, or missing information.
  • Conduct data entry in the Accounts Payable/Receivable System from source documents, ensuring accuracy and making necessary adjustments.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Accounts Payable/Receivable.
  • High School diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with automated financial and accounting systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
