Responsibilities- Assist in preparing and dispensing medications to patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication inventory and patient information
- Perform tasks in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and regulations
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 6 months of experience in pharmacy functions or related field
- Certified and registered Pharmacy Technician by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- IV Certification required (or must be obtained within 12 months of hire)
- Continued employment contingent on maintaining current certification(s) and/or license(s)
