Position Overview

We are seeking experienced professionals for the role of Acoustical Managing Consultant. This position offers flexibility with remote and hybrid work arrangements available. The successful candidate will engage in project management, client relations, and mentorship of junior staff while performing detailed independent work.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee acoustical consulting projects and maintain client relationships.
  • Design and implement effective project execution strategies.
  • Lead teams in developing innovative acoustical design solutions to address complex environmental noise issues.
  • Conduct technical analyses related to environmental noise assessments, sound level evaluations, and mitigation design.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and communicate findings to clients, along with proposals and cost estimates.
  • Guide and mentor team members, fostering their technical and professional growth.
  • Review and interpret local, state, and federal environmental regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in acoustical consulting, particularly in environmental noise assessment.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet and noise modeling software.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and their application.
  • Demonstrated leadership in project teams within the acoustical consulting field.
  • Experience in delivering acoustical consultation across various sectors, utilizing different project delivery methods.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO and ANSI.
  • Experience in conducting environmental noise assessments in compliance with relevant regulations.
