About the Role

Fujifilm is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Facilities team in Mesa, Arizona. As a key member of our operations group, you will provide electrical engineering support to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems, including building management systems and backup power systems.
  • Participate in future site design modifications and upgrades to improve efficiency and expand capabilities.
  • Analyze data from monitoring systems to support design efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with the Operations and Maintenance team to oversee electrical system modifications and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Lead specific projects within the electrical engineering field, performing engineering studies, analysis, and investigations to recommend corrective action or prevent problems.
  • Collate and analyze data to support Facility Management's decision-making process.
  • Undertake tasks of varying complexity to support Fujifilm facilities in the design of technical solutions.
  • Work closely with Facilities Management operating personnel to provide operating and maintenance support to avoid technical obsolescence and ensure maximum safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Evaluate energy consumption and develop cost-saving initiatives in support of company programs.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 6-8 years of experience.
  • Experience with medium and low voltages, including 12.47kV, 480V, and 208V substation distribution systems.
  • Experience in providing Arc Flash evaluation, power distribution system protection coordination, short circuit studies, and load studies, as well as updating panel schedules.
  • Relevant working experience in electrical distribution systems, semiconductor industry, or cleanroom environment.
  • Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and familiarity with NFPA requirements.
  • Review and validate construction progress.
  • Perform critiques and red-line evaluation of drawings for compliance with standard drawing practice and clarity of content.
  • Prior experience in contributing to project teams and working with professional engineers from project design through construction documents and construction.
  • AutoCAD knowledge.
