We are currently seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer to enhance our operations in the Mesa, Arizona facility.
About Us:
With cutting-edge manufacturing plants across the globe, including locations in the U.S., Europe, Taiwan, China, Korea, and Japan, FUJIFILM Electronic Materials is dedicated to supplying top-tier semiconductor manufacturers with a diverse range of products and services integral to the semiconductor production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the electrical systems at the Fujifilm site, including the building management system and backup power systems (grid power, generator, and battery systems).
- Engage in site design modifications and upgrades to improve operational efficiency.
- Analyze data from monitoring systems to support design efforts aimed at enhancing capabilities.
- Collaborate with the Operations and Maintenance team as the lead electrician to manage electrical system modifications.
- Lead projects within your expertise, conducting engineering studies and analyses to recommend corrective actions.
- Independently gather and assess data using established tools and methods to assist Facility Management in decision-making.
- Work closely with Facilities Management personnel to ensure optimal safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of company facilities.
- Evaluate energy usage and develop initiatives for cost savings in alignment with company objectives.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required, along with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency with medium and low voltage systems, including 12.47kV, 480V, and 208V distribution systems.
- Experience in conducting Arc Flash evaluations, power distribution system protection coordination, and load studies.
- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA standards.
- Ability to review and validate construction progress and drawings for compliance.
- AutoCAD proficiency is essential.
