Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care at Avera Mary House Long Term Care. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for supervising, assessing, and administering medications and treatments as directed.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee the work of Med Aides and Certified Nurse Assistants
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with the physician and other healthcare professionals
  • Assess and administer medications and treatments as directed
  • Participate in educational conferences and updates to maintain current professional clinical competency
  • Maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of SD

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of SD
  • Ability to work evening/night shifts, including every other weekend and holiday
