About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audio Visual Systems Designer to join our team at Latitude. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from conceptualization to implementation, and collaborate with clients, project managers, and technicians to deliver custom AV solutions that meet the unique needs and requirements of each project.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with clients to understand their goals, requirements, and technical specifications for AV systems
  • Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to develop innovative and cost-effective AV design proposals and solutions
  • Create detailed AV system designs, including equipment selection, layout diagrams, wiring schematics, and technical specifications
  • Conduct site surveys to assess existing infrastructure and determine optimal placement and integration of AV equipment
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to installation teams during the implementation phase to ensure successful deployment of AV systems
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in audio visual design and engineering
  • Support sales efforts by participating in client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in audio visual design, engineering, and integration
  • Proficiency in audio visual software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Visio
  • Strong understanding of audio visual principles, including video conferencing, digital signage, control systems, and networking
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, colleagues, and vendors
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality, reliable AV solutions
  • Industry certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) are preferred but not required
Compensation

The salary for this position is $70,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
