Job Summary

The Children's Home of Kingston is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Director to oversee the agency's compliance with federal and state regulations. As the compliance leader, the successful candidate will be responsible for establishing standards and implementing procedures to ensure compliance throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Program Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program that ensures the agency's adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Regulatory Research: Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on changing regulatory requirements and ensure the agency's compliance.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Develop and maintain policies and procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and education to agency staff on compliance requirements and procedures.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor the agency's compliance with regulatory requirements and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the Board.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's degree in Social Work, Program Development, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in child welfare standards, best practices, quality assurance, and compliance.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to communicate effectively, and experience with regulatory compliance.
Working Conditions

The Compliance Director will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to interact with people and technology while standing or sitting for long periods of time. The position requires the ability to hear, see, and speak, as well as the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, crouch, and kneel.
