Available Positions:
We are seeking Radiation Therapists of varying experience levels to become part of our dynamic team. Opportunities are available for full-time, part-time, and PRN roles, with 8-hour day shifts from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the position of Radiation Therapist, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Radiation Therapist 1: An Associate degree in Radiation Therapy and American Registered Radiologic Technologist certification or registry eligibility within one year of employment. Basic Life Support certification from AHA is required upon commencement.
- Radiation Therapist 2: An Associate degree in Radiation Therapy or Certification, with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Staff Therapist in a Radiation Therapy department, including experience with linear accelerators and patient simulation. American Registered Radiologic Technologist certification is required upon commencement.
Key Responsibilities:
The Radiation Therapist is responsible for effective communication with patients, families, medical staff, and healthcare team members. Responsibilities include:
- Providing education and support tailored to patients' understanding and motivation, involving families and caregivers as appropriate.
- Positioning patients for initial treatment, verifying setup, and ensuring accuracy through record and verification systems.
- Maintaining accurate records of daily treatments and other necessary documentation.
- Acting as a liaison between physicians and technical staff, utilizing expertise for complex treatments.
- Documenting any changes in treatment plans and addressing discrepancies as needed.
- Ensuring portal verification films are taken at appropriate intervals and making necessary adjustments in treatment ports.
- Conducting daily quality assurance checks on equipment to verify accurate operation.
- Participating in educational activities and staying informed about advancements in the field.
