Sportsbook Cashier

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service to customers, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
• Process wagers from patrons and handle the redemption of Sports Wagering Operations tickets or vouchers.
• Maintain precise transaction records and perform reconciliations accurately.
• Familiarize yourself with the Sportsbook House Rules to effectively address patron inquiries.
• Review and file Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SARC) in compliance with Title 31.
• Manage and balance the cash drawer efficiently.
• Facilitate check cashing, token/coin redemption, and cash equivalents for Casino guests.
• Handle the sale and redemption of tokens and coupons.
• Communicate effectively with pit staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Adhere to established house rules, procedures, and internal control policies.
• Process customer deposits and credit transactions with accuracy.
• Operate a Jet-sort token counter proficiently.
• Deliver service to both internal and external customers that embodies the company values of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation, and Recognition (S.T.A.R.).
• Promptly report any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activities to the on-site IGC Agent, Security, and Supervisor on Duty, in accordance with the company Self-Reporting Policy.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Carry out miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of six months in a Cage Cashier role, Sports Wagering, or banking preferred, with significant money handling experience.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Skills: Proficient in basic mathematics and computer usage, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Licenses: Must possess an Indiana Gaming Commission Occupational License - Level 2.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds frequently, and work various shifts as needed.
