Job Title: Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst to join its team in Irving, TX.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for enabling real-time streaming data from all Citi Consumer Bank channels, integrating and designing a real-time data streaming framework to drive digital customer insight initiatives, and setting up capabilities by improving data lake's linkages between data-sets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enable real-time streaming data from all Citi Consumer Bank channels
  • Integrate and design a real-time data streaming framework to drive digital customer insight initiatives
  • Set up capabilities by improving data lake's linkages between data-sets
  • Identify opportunities to help business partners grow and achieve their goals with digital insights capabilities and KPIs
  • Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify and define necessary system enhancements
  • Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions
  • Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, and conduct testing and debugging
  • Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts
  • Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field
  • Three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • Experience in utilizing Core Java, Python, JavaScript, Multi-Threading, Exception Handling, and GoF Pattern Designs to develop robust and efficient applications
  • Experience in using spring technologies including Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring Security, and Spring Data to process large amounts of data in real-time
  • Experience in using Kafka, Event-Driven Microservices, and non-relational databases to design and develop highly scalable distributed enterprise applications
  • Experience in using Redis, RDBMS, NoSQL DB, Apigee, OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes to find efficient solutions to address critical business challenges
  • Experience in using Splunk, AppDynamics, Jenkins to monitor application performance and provide devops support
