Plans, assigns, directs, checks, and coordinates work. Secures written or verbal consent from property owners to trim or remove trees or conduct other work on the property. Coordinates with customers or property owners to ensure access, informs about interruptions, and explains the work to be performed. Fosters and maintains positive customer and public relations through effective execution of assigned tasks and appropriate conduct of crew members. Collaborates with customers, police, and fire departments when obstructing streets or driveways. Ensures the safety of employees and the public from hazards in and around the work area. Establishes barriers, warning signs, flags, markers, etc. to safeguard employees and the public. Accountable for the quality and quantity of production and for adhering to safe practices and regulations while clearing and trimming trees and brush away from utility lines. Operates and maintains equipment, including gasoline, hydraulic tools, power saws, power winches, buckets, chippers, and sprayers. Operates a bucket near energized lines to remove branches and tree debris. Conducts tree and bucket rescue operations. Utilizes hand tools, such as axes, hand-lines, saws, block and tackle, pruners, etc. Cleans up and disposes of all debris. Applies herbicides to brush and stumps, ensuring proper and selective application. Trains new personnel.Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be knowledgeable about electrical hazards. Possesses working knowledge and can identify various tree and shrub species. Job demands physical energy, twisting, some lifting ability, and hand-to-eye coordination. Must be willing to join the local union and pay union dues.Education & Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Entry-level position, no prior experience required. Previous experience is advantageous.Pre-Screen

Due to the inherently hazardous nature of the industry and the requirements to work with or around dangerous equipment, employees must possess sufficient eyesight to judge distance and coordination of equipment and tools, maintain attention and concentration for extended periods, withstand exposure to various weather conditions while completing tasks, wear personal protective equipment as necessary, enter and exit a vehicle multiple times a day, have the endurance to traverse diverse terrain, and effectively communicate with others, read, write, and comprehend written/verbal job instructions and information, and manage conflict professionally.
Works in all temperatures and will be exposed to natural elements, including irritating plants and biting or stinging insects. Works near energized components or equipment. Works in traffic. Works around excessive noise from machinery, jackhammers, gas drills, and other equipment with appropriate hearing protection. Exposed to risks associated with working near power equipment, traffic, high voltage wires, and falling limbs.About Us:
