FleetPride Diesel Technician III Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Technician III to join our team. As a Diesel Technician III, you will be responsible for performing advanced diagnostic operations, repairing and replacing components, and training new technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction
  • Train new service shop employees on company procedures
  • Inspect orders for completion and quality
  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services
  • Repair and replace brakes, suspension systems, electrical systems, and other components
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel and gasoline engines
  • Perform welding and other tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Diesel Technology Associate's degree
  • 7+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks
  • Experience repairing 53' trailers
  • Training experience, diagnostic experience, and welding experience
  • Ability to train other technicians
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
