Job Summary
The Nurse Extern II is a key member of our patient care services team, responsible for providing technical, multi-skilled direct and indirect patient care activities. This role involves working under the supervision of a registered nurse, who delegates tasks based on patient needs and the Nurse Extern II's skills and abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing patient care, including ADLS, vitals, ambulation, and other duties within the scope of patient care tech or equivalent.
- Report all deviations from expected patient parameters to the registered nurse.
- Work collaboratively with the assigned RN to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing and have passed all senior courses. We encourage candidates to apply 6 months prior to graduation to ensure a smooth transition into the program.
