About the Role

HCA Florida Brandon Hospital is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and position patients and equipment in a safe and competent manner
  • Accurately perform sonogram examinations in a timely and efficient manner
  • Record and process ultrasound images, maintaining statistical results for quality improvement
  • Communicate effectively with radiologists regarding clinical findings, history, and test results
Requirements
  • A two-year Allied Health degree or completion of a 12-month CAAHEP-approved program
  • ARDMS certification
  • RVT - Registered Vascular Tech, or ARDMS Abdomen Specialty (AB), or ARDMS OB/GYN Specialty within 1 year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 1-3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
