Job Title: RPG Developer

We are seeking an experienced RPG Developer to join our team at Hirewell. As an RPG Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality technical solutions that meet documented requirements.

About the Role:
  • Design and develop technical solutions in an IBM i (iSeries/AS400) environment using RPG III/IV, RPG Free, SQL, and CL.
  • Work closely with Application Development Manager, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and other IT associates to design and develop technical solutions.
  • Develop application solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience as an RPG Developer working in a supply chain and ERP environment.
  • Experience with JD Edwards World Software, preferably with focus on Financials, Order to Cash, and EDI modules.
  • Knowledge of software packages used by IMS, including Extol, A/R Traffic, Vertex, Aldon, ROBOT, GoAnywhere, and RDi.
  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and ETL development using SQL.
  • Knowledge of EDI X12 standards and the ability to define mappings and translations.
  • Knowledge of UPS and FedEx meters and interfaces.
  • Web-based technologies, including RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
