Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and Welcome Patients: Create a positive first impression for our patients by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome to our office.
  • Manage Front Office Duties: Oversee various administrative tasks, including answering calls, managing office mail and email, and communicating with patients and insurance companies.
  • Patient Scheduling and Records: Utilize Dentrix to schedule appointments, manage patient records, and maintain accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Insurance Claims and Payments: Process and follow up on insurance claims, verify benefits, and explain coverage to patients.
  • Accounts Receivable and Payment Processing: Post insurance and patient payments, manage accounts receivable, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Treatment Plan Fees and Payment Options: Review treatment plan fees and payment options with patients, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
  • System Implementation and Optimization: Partner with our providers and team to implement Heartland Dental systems, optimizing office potential and improving patient care.

Requirements
  • Experience in a Fast-Paced Environment: Possess experience working in a dynamic and customer-centric environment, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Minimum Qualifications: Meet the minimum requirements, including experience in a dental or medical setting, insurance billing and accounts receivable experience, and Dentrix or other dental software experience.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation, including prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer, lifting up to 15 pounds, and attending virtual training sessions.
