Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning Operations: Oversee the daily cleaning operations, including the cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that the department is well-stocked and that costs are controlled.
  • Staff Development: Train and develop the housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that the housekeeping department is meeting the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise in the housekeeping department, working closely with other departments to ensure that guest needs are met.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in leading a housekeeping department.
  • Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of environmental services (EVS), including detailed cleaning processes and a wide range of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Education: A High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of housekeeping staff.
