Job Title: Senior BAS Project Manager

At DAC, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Senior BAS Project Manager to lead our Building Automation Systems projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with a focus on building automation systems, HVAC, and other building infrastructure systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of projects, from award to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, scope of work, and terms and conditions in customer contracts.
  • Proactively manage project financials, including schedule of values, progress billing, invoicing, material and supply procurement, and monitoring committed cost.
  • Communicate project requirements to the project team and wider organization, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of job status, job changes, material flow, and other control records.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines.
  • Coordinate the procurement of materials, supplies, and services.
  • Perform Job Safety Audits (JSAs) as applicable, in coordination with the company safety officer.
  • Prepare close-out documents and participate in hand-over to DAC's Services division.
  • May have direct reports and perform managerial responsibilities, such as mentoring, coaching, performance appraisals, and salary reviews.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of Building Automation Systems, HVAC, and other building infrastructure systems.
  • Strong leadership skills, including team building, employee mentoring, and development, and the ability to empower others through delegation of responsibility.
  • Minimum of eight years of previous, relevant engineering, field service, or project management experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to perform work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, including Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.
