Job Responsibilities and QualificationsThis role supports the mission of Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center by enhancing the quality of life for all individuals served, focusing on holistic needs beyond just medical requirements. The Pediatric Surgery RN supervises and directs the care of surgical patients across various specialties. This position serves as the primary nurse, leading the collaboration of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care. The RN oversees and directs the care provided by assistive personnel, maintaining ultimate accountability for the care delivered to assigned patients. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or a current active multistate Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Minimum one year of experience in acute care OR required.
Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center offers over 80 specialties in our 680+ bed facility serving the Uptown neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. PSL is affiliated with HealthONE hospitals, the largest healthcare system in the metro Denver area.
