Certified Athletic Trainer

The Certified Athletic Trainer is a key member of our team at Hopedale Medical Complex, responsible for the prevention, maintenance, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. This role requires a strong understanding of athletic training techniques, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Provide medical coverage at athletic events, practices, and tournaments
- Assess and treat athletic injuries, including prevention and rehabilitation
- Communicate with athletes, parents, coaches, and physicians regarding playing status and ability to return to competition
- Participate in State, District, and National Athletic Training Organizations as appropriate
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
- Bachelor's degree in an Athletic Training Program or Entry Level Masters
- BOC certification and IL AT license or eligible
- Approximately one to two years' experience of progressively responsible related experience
Works in all athletic type atmospheres where there may be discomforts due to dust, dirt, noise, heat, and the like. Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds daily, stand, walk, and kneel for 90% of work time.
Compensation26-28 Hourly Wage
