Job Description

We are seeking an Academic Clinician to join our team in Hematologic malignancies, specifically myeloma with an interest in cancer research focus. The successful candidate will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.

Responsibilities
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient clinic attending services at UW Hospitals and Clinics locations in Madison and at additional sites within the region.
  • Provide clinical teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Pursue and secure independent funding to continue/develop their research.
  • Collaborate with basic, translational, and clinical researchers at the NCI-designated UW Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC).
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must have completed accredited hematology or hematology/medical oncology fellowship training. Fellows are welcome to apply. Experience in clinical, basic science, or translational research, with a track record of successful publications in peer-reviewed journals, strong written and verbal communication skills, commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and evidence of excellence in teaching are also required.
