We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic digital marketing intern to join our team at The Ridge Ohio, the Midwest's premier substance abuse and mental health treatment center.

The ideal candidate is a creative thinker, a fast learner, proactive in their approach, and has a passion for marketing.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email marketing, content marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO).
  2. Support the creation and optimization of engaging content for our website, blog, social media platforms, and other digital channels.
  3. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices in the digital marketing landscape.
  4. Monitor and analyze digital marketing metrics to evaluate campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  6. Assist in managing and growing our social media presence by creating and scheduling engaging content, monitoring user engagement, and responding to inquiries.
  7. Help with the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, content creation, and performance tracking.
  8. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in digital marketing.
  9. Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including data entry, reporting, and organizing marketing materials.
Requirements:
  1. Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or recently graduated).
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to effectively convey ideas and information.
  3. Basic understanding of digital marketing concepts and principles, including social media marketing, content marketing, SEO, and email marketing.
  4. Familiarity with popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  5. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media analytics).
  6. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with an ability to interpret and present data effectively.
  7. Creative mindset and the ability to think outside the box to develop innovative marketing ideas.
  8. Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  9. Prior experience or internship in digital marketing or related fields is a plus, but not required.
