Water Leak Detection Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Water Leak Detection Specialist to join our team at American Leak Detection in Richmond, VA. This is a full-time position offering competitive salary and benefits.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for performing leak detections and repairs on underground piping systems, both inside and outside buildings, as well as in sewers, swimming pools, and spas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, mechanics, and electronics, with experience using power tools and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
This role requires excellent communication and writing skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The candidate must also be physically fit and able to lift up to 100 pounds.
A valid driver's license, good DMV report, and clean driving record are mandatory. Familiarity with leak detection or plumbing, and experience in pool and slab work, are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities- Perform leak detections and repairs on underground piping systems
- Use electronic leak detection equipment and advanced technologies
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred
- Minimum 1+ year experience in plumbing, mechanics, or electronics
- Valid driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Excellent communication and writing skills
