Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas Las Colinas. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubrication of tools and equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues with plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Assist with the maintenance of our hotel's physical property, including repairs and replacements of equipment and fixtures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest service.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration; hotel engineering/maintenance experience a plus.
  • Valid driver's license and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in general maintenance, electrical, or refrigeration; parts inventory and requisition experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of hotel engineering and maintenance systems, including energy management and preventative maintenance.
  • Ability to train and mentor other engineers as needed.
