Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Tax Intern to join our team for a 10-week internship. As a Corporate Tax Intern, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Gain industry experience by working on project-based assignments focused on finance and accounting
  • Collaborate with fellow interns on meaningful projects and present your findings at the end of your internship
  • Access professional development opportunities and learning materials to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Develop clarity on your academic and career goals
  • Assimilate into a corporate team environment and build lasting relationships with your colleagues

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of tax returns and financial statements
  • Conduct research and analysis on tax laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum completion of two years or more of college prior to the start of your internship
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Able to work full-time during the 10-week internship experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong academic background, with a preferred GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Relevant internship, work experience, or involvement with professional clubs/organizations
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
  • Curiosity and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, time management, analytical, and adaptability skills
  • Commitment to on-time performance in all responsibilities
  • Strong excel skills
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Able to work in a team environment
  • Experience with tax or general ledger software is a plus
