Job Overview

The Business Operations Manager is responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction by enhancing operational and procedural excellence within the Fleet Support team, while also overseeing contract management processes. This position requires strategic thinking and a strong execution capability to drive advancements in Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics. Key responsibilities include developing strategies for comprehensive diagnostics, improving data sharing with lessors, and simplifying Third Party Agreements. Additionally, the role involves managing the operational rhythms of the FLIGHT DECK across Remote Monitoring and Diagnostics teams and the Fleet Support division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee Fleet Support contract management processes, ensuring effective execution and compliance, including leading on-site customer audits.
  • Manage business processes for the Entry Into Service (EIS) of Tier 2 customers.
  • Develop and refine business strategies while applying FLIGHT DECK principles to enhance process improvement, consistency, and best practices in the area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate with internal Sales/Marketing teams and joint venture partners on diagnostics contract strategies, service value propositions, and customer engagement initiatives.
  • Establish, develop, and monitor key performance indicators to promote operational excellence across the Fleet Support organization.
  • Supervise third-party suppliers engaged in process execution.
  • Communicate process initiatives and team performance metrics to senior management.
  • Utilize Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback from external clients and internal teams to enhance customer engagement and support strategies, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the ARINC contract for the transmission of ACARS data.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and a minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering operations (or a high school diploma/GED with an additional 4 years of relevant experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience with FLIGHT DECK, LEAN, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience in a strategic role requiring influence and collaboration across a matrix organization.
  • Background in commercial or product support roles within the aviation sector.
  • Experience in direct engagement with customers and their leadership teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and business intelligence visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs and projects effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Capacity to guide and influence team members.
  • Self-driven and motivated.
