About the Job

This position is for a Shift Manager at a McDonald's restaurant. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading shifts, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience. You will provide leadership to crew members and other managers during a shift to maintain high-quality service and cleanliness standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a Shift Manager, your duties will include:

  • Food Safety: Ensuring that food is prepared and served safely and in accordance with McDonald's standards.
  • Internal Communication: Maintaining open communication with crew members and other managers to ensure a smooth and efficient shift.
  • Inventory Management: Managing inventory levels to ensure that the restaurant has the necessary supplies to operate effectively.
  • Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness: Maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and crew members.
  • Managing Crew: Supervising and training crew members to ensure they are meeting McDonald's standards.
  • Quality Food Production: Ensuring that food is prepared to a high standard and meets customer expectations.
  • Exceptional Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Safety and Security: Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and crew members.
  • Scheduling: Managing scheduling to ensure that the restaurant is adequately staffed during shifts.
  • Training: Providing training to crew members to ensure they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a leadership role, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
  • Positive Attitude: A positive attitude and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
