We are seeking a skilled Physician to join our team at Physician Empire in Harlem, near Upper Manhattan & Yankee Stadium. As a Community Health Psychiatrist, you will work in a dynamic setting with Open Access hours, same-day appointments, and walk-in availability.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with a full-time psychiatric nurse practitioner to provide comprehensive care to chronically ill patients with HIV, HCV, heart disease, lung disease, and severe and persistent mental illness.
- Develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of our patient population, which includes over 75% who are homeless or marginally housed.
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (eCW preferred) to ensure accurate and efficient documentation.
- Participate in a multi-disciplinary team that practices harm reduction principles and provides care that is sensitive to the needs of our diverse patient population.
- Experience working with HIV/AIDS and homeless populations.
- Knowledge of and comfort with harm reduction principles.
- Spanish speaking skills a plus.
- Experience with Addiction Medicine a plus.
