Mobile Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Service Technician to join our team in Seattle. As a key member of our operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient repair and maintenance of our vehicles.
This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility, as you will work within a 24-hour operational environment, including shift work, overtime, and extensive travel.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for providing after-sales support to customers with ADL products, supervising and supporting warranty repairs, and coordinating repairs with other technicians, contractors, suppliers, and agents.
Your primary focus will be on identifying and reporting reliability, performance, and maintenance issues that affect customer perception of the ADL product. You will also be responsible for communicating progress to customers, completing work records and timesheets, and providing product familiarization and technical training to customers' maintenance staff and parts personnel.
In addition, you will diagnose and assist in repairing mechanical, electrical, and body-related faults, fast-track high-priority issues to the Overseas Service Manager, and provide daily availability reports.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Detailed knowledge of ADL products and procedures.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on ADL Enviro range of low-emission buses or similar.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures and operation.
- Strong fault diagnostic capabilities and a high level of electrical knowledge.
- Hold a full valid driving license and ideally hold a current PCV or Commercial Driving License.
- A good level of computer literacy to operate laptop diagnostic equipment.
- An estimated salary of $70,000-$80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- A 40-hour working week, with flexible working options.
