Job Opportunity

Cornerstone Learning Community is seeking a highly qualified middle school math lead teacher to join its faculty. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced educator to lead our International Baccalaureate mathematics program and inspire students to achieve their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and education, with experience in leading a team of teachers and developing curriculum. They will be passionate about creating a learning environment that is inclusive, supportive, and challenging for all students.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the mathematics program and developing curriculum to meet the needs of students.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement a comprehensive mathematics program.
  • Communicating regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Maintaining a high standard of instruction and assessment to ensure student success.
  • Reporting progress and providing feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements include:

  • A bachelor's (master's preferred) degree in mathematics, education, or a related field.
  • Florida Educator Certificate in middle school, preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a lead teacher or in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Passion for mathematics education and a commitment to student success.

Qualified candidates will be invited to:
