About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with our licensed physical therapists to deliver personalized care to patients in their homes. Your expertise will play a vital role in enhancing our patients' quality of life and promoting optimal movement potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and meet patients' goals and needs
  • Provide PT-assigned services to patients in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed PT
  • Offer cost-effective treatments to improve clients' motion and mobility
  • Reduce the need for medications and provide alternatives to surgery
  • Develop care plans using various treatment techniques
  • Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have a PTA Certification for the state of TX, CPR Certification, and Professional Liability Insurance. Home Health or Rehab experience is preferred, as is multi-disciplinary collaboration for patient care. You should also possess proven work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, be able to manage patients with different personalities, and have current knowledge of treatment practices.
