Facilities Maintenance Specialist

The estimated salary for this role is between $30,000 - $40,000 per year, depending on experience.

This Facilities Maintenance Specialist position is responsible for maintaining our properties in a clean and orderly condition. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently.

• Clean and sanitize restrooms using established practices and procedures.
• Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; empty/clean wastebaskets and trash containers; replace light bulbs; refill restroom dispensers.
• Assist with event setup and maintain facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, etc.
• Strip, clean, buff and apply floor sealer and finish to hard surface floors, vacuum and shampoo carpets.
• Operate and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, brooms, mops, and squeegees.
• Wash walls and equipment; use ladders when required in work assignments.
• Perform minor repairs as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 months or more of related experience preferred.
• Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties.
• Working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
