Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Neurological Registered Nurse to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary care team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
  • Implement and evaluate care plans, making adjustments as needed
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Administer medications and complete treatments according to hospital policy
  • Delegate tasks to non-licensed staff as needed
  • Provide education to patients and families on care and treatments
  • Facilitate discharge plans in collaboration with the care team
Requirements
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Experience in an acute care setting preferred
Education and Certifications
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
