Nurse Practitioner Opportunities in Correctional Health

You will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

**Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year**
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement individualized care plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and documenting patient information
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives and contribute to quality assurance activities
- RN licensure in New York State or ability to obtain licensure within 90 days
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
- A minimum of one year of experience as a registered nurse in a clinical setting, preferably in a correctional or psychiatric unit
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
