Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity

MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic team at a reputable acute-care hospital in Texas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Capture high-quality diagnostic images to assist physicians in diagnosing various conditions and disorders.
  • Work a standard day shift schedule, Monday through Friday.
  • Adhere to strict radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure for patients and healthcare staff.
  • Conduct laboratory analyses of patient specimens as needed.
  • Coordinate patient appointments efficiently and provide clear explanations of procedures to patients.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine.
  • Certified by NMTCB or ARRT.
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board-MRT.
  • CPR/BLS Certification.
  • Proficient in starting IVs and administering injections for pharmacologic testing.
  • Familiarity with EKGs and stress testing systems.
