Our Maintenance Team is responsible for fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines. We're looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

* Fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines
* Rebuilding, repairing, and/or replacing equipment/machinery/parts
* Performing preventative maintenance
* Installing equipment/machinery/parts
* Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems as directed by supervisor
* Complete daily required reporting as well as additional reports as instructed
* Collaboration with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility
* Complete all assignments in priority order as delegated by the supervisor
* Complete startup procedures when appropriate
* Notify supervisor of any unusual conditions which may result in downtime
* Complete assignment tickets in accurate and timely manner
* Record all crisis and unscheduled work orders on the assignment ticket
* Respond to crisis situations in an expedient manner
* Maintain tools in good working order
* Return all borrowed tools to owning area
* Complete all work & safety training as designated by plant management
* Respond to crisis situations as assigned by supervisor
* Ensure that all appropriate safety procedures are followed
* Participate in cost control measures including the return of all unused material to supply
* Maintain refrigeration system
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* Demonstrated 2 years or more working in Maintenance
* Mechanical skills and understanding of basic machine functions
* Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches
* Basic computer skills
* Willingness to work and be on time when scheduled
* Ability to read, write and speak English preferred
* Strong work ethic and eye for detail
* Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
