Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our ICU team. As a Staff Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for assessing, directing, and coordinating patient care and procedures in a timely and efficient manner. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide individualized care to patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Direct and coordinate patient care and procedures, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing education to patients and families.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and their families, and promote a culture of compassion and respect within the ICU.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current New York Registered Nurse license.
  • Experience in critical care nursing, preferably in an ICU setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
