Arauco is a global leader in the manufacturing of sustainably-produced forest product solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Training Coordinator to join our team in Albany, OR.

Job Summary:

The Training Coordinator will be responsible for developing, implementing, and facilitating employee training and development programs. This includes leading new hire orientations, tracking employee development, administering testing for applicants, upgrading job descriptions, and developing new training for current employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct needs analysis with the workforce to identify skills or knowledge gaps
  • Research and identify training vendors and materials to meet the needs of the organization
  • Write training proposals and coordinate logistics for training delivery
  • Gather feedback on training effectiveness and aggregate data for analysis
  • Communicate progress to all teams regarding the training and development process
  • Work with area coordinators and coaches to identify and coordinate training needs
  • Manage employee training records and follow up with delinquent training
  • Partner with HR Manager to coordinate new hire orientation and other training needs
  • Lead wellness initiatives for the mill
  • Assist coordinators in assessing training and development needs and implementing initiatives to address gaps
  • Advise employees on training opportunities and development
  • Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness
  • Track and report on training outcomes
  • Work with employees to coordinate and participate in community activities and involvement
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or evidence of continual work toward a degree strongly preferred
  • Must have MS Office experience, including Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and graph generation
  • Ability to complete full training cycle
  • Must have organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments and good time management skills
  • Great communication skills, both verbal and written, with effective interpersonal communication skills
