Job Title: Research Associate II

Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Associate II to join our team in the Surgery Department. As a Research Associate II, you will be responsible for performing a variety of complex experimental protocols and procedures, assisting in the design of new protocols and techniques, and maintaining accurate and detailed records of experiments and results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform complex experimental protocols and procedures
  • Assist in the design of new protocols and techniques
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of experiments and results
  • Order laboratory supplies and support laboratory operations
  • Maintain lab equipment and related records
  • Assist in the operation of specialized equipment
  • Assist in the preparation of data for publication and/or presentation
  • Observe and comply with safety standards and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in biological science
  • At least two (2) years of experience in area of research specialization
  • Experience in research of cancer immunology and immunotherapy, or tumors preferred
  • Understanding of general research objectives
  • Highly motivated, independently with superior interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Computer skills to include, but not limited to, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of administrative policies and procedures and budgetary requirements and policies
