Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team at TriStar Centennial Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular department, you will be responsible for assisting physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral angiographic studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer contrast media according to age/weight specific guidelines.
  • Set up sterile trays and maintain a sterile field, adhering to hospital protocol.
  • Scrub and assist interventional physicians during procedures.
  • Monitor and record hemodynamic measurements and readings from valve areas.
  • Start and maintain IV access.
  • Accurately follow physician orders and document completion of exams in Meditech.
Requirements
  • Current license or registry certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or completion of this advanced registration within one year of hire date.
  • Current license or registry of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and licensed through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered Radiologic Technologist [RT(R)].
  • BLS certification.
  • Completion of ACLS training within six months of hire.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, guests, physicians, and colleagues.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a Cath lab or EP lab, or consideration for new graduates of RCIS programs.
