Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced attorney to become a vital part of our legal team as Counsel for our Digital Grid Management (DGM) division. In this capacity, you will offer legal counsel on a variety of matters, including commercial agreements, regulatory adherence, and intellectual property issues. Reporting directly to the Associate General Counsel, you will spearhead intricate legal initiatives that have a substantial impact on our global operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal expertise on commercial agreements, encompassing software licensing, data protection, and cybersecurity regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal standards and mitigate risks associated with business transactions.
  • Exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit by remaining updated on legal trends and industry advancements.
  • Utilize creativity and a proactive mindset in resolving challenges and fostering innovation.
  • Prioritize practical solutions and demonstrate flexibility in uncertain circumstances.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of legal experience within a software and services context.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, including NERC CIP, CCPA, GDPR, and CRA.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication capabilities.
  • Strong business insight and a commitment to making a significant impact.
  • Active member of a state bar association in good standing.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel minimally may be necessary.
