Job Title: Old Red Kimono Art Editor

Job Summary:

The Old Red Kimono Art Editor will collaborate with faculty advisors to design the cover art, solicit artwork submissions, select pieces for inclusion, photograph artwork, create layouts, edit multiple drafts, and distribute the Old Red Kimono to all Georgia Highlands College locations.

Georgia Highlands College offers excellent opportunities for students to develop their skills while pursuing their education.

Applicants must be current Georgia Highlands College students.

Responsibilities:
  • Design the cover art for the Old Red Kimono
  • Solicit, evaluate, and photograph artwork submissions
  • Notify artists of the status of their submissions
  • Create layouts and edit multiple drafts
  • Organize annual release parties
  • Distribute magazines to all locations
Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in painting and drawing
  • Strong computer skills
  • Availability of at least 2 afternoons per week in January and February, 3 afternoons per week in March and April
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA

Must be a current Georgia Highlands College student.
