About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder III to join our team at TPG Pressure Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for meticulously inspecting and repairing spirally welded cylinders to meet exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adhere to Safety Protocols: Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Inspect and Repair Cylinders: Inspect spirally welded cylinders for defects and repair them according to AWWA C200 and job specifications.
  • Accurate Reporting: Precisely report repairs and measurements to ensure quality control.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Utilize cutting torch for necessary repairs and perform welding equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Workplace Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Supervision: Work under supervision to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Essential Requirements
  • Pass 3G Test: Demonstrate proficiency in welding by passing the 3G test.
  • Welding Standards: Weld within ASME standards to ensure high-quality results.
  • Acceptance Rate: Maintain a high acceptance rate according to ASME codes.
  • Flux-Core Welding Experience: Possess experience in flux-core welding to ensure efficient and effective repairs.
  • Problem-Solving and Innovation: Demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving and innovation to ensure optimal results.
  • Organizational Policies: Follow organizational policies and procedures to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Communication Skills: Possess effective communication skills to ensure clear and concise reporting.
