As a Geohazard Mitigation Technician with GeoStabilization International, you will embark on a dynamic career path that offers a unique blend of outdoor work, hands-on labor, and opportunities for advancement.

Working alongside experienced technicians, you will be involved in various tasks such as measuring, drilling, mixing concrete, and creating sustainable infrastructure. GeoStabilization International is a leading geohazard mitigation and bridge rehabilitation firm operating throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia. Our expertise, proprietary tools, and worldwide partnerships enable us to repair virtually any slope stability or foundation problem in any geologic setting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Mixing, spraying, and operating shotcrete or grouting pumps
  • Moving materials on a construction site
  • Reading and determining measurements
  • Maintaining a clean and organized construction site
  • Working together in a team environment
  • Learning to operate rock drills
  • Operating construction equipment such as excavators, all-terrain forklifts, man lifts, skid steers, and front-end loaders

Qualifications include:

  • Basic qualifications: prior experience in soil stabilization, grouting, or foundation mitigation, or prior construction industry experience as a carpenter or framer, or prior concrete experience such as a concrete finisher/form builder or shotcrete experience
  • Significant experience working outdoors in a collaborative, physical environment
  • Ability to travel at least 3 weeks out of every month
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic

Preferred qualifications include a CDL Class A or a clean Motor Vehicle Driving Record.
