Job Title: Diesel Mechanic

Cumberland Farms is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a critical role in maintaining our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in top working condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and related systems
  • Conduct inspections and repairs on heavy equipment, including trucks, trailers, and other vehicles
  • Work with diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues
  • Collaborate with other technicians and supervisors to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in automotive technology or related field preferred
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in diesel engine repair; 3+ years preferred
  • CDL class A or B license required; tank repair certification and refrigeration repair certification a plus
  • ASE certifications in diesel engine repair, brakes, suspension, electrical and electronic systems, and PM service a plus
