Position Overview:

As a Compassionate Care Nurse at The Arc of Greater Prince William, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are a dedicated non-profit organization committed to enhancing the lives of those we serve in the Greater Prince William area.

Work Schedule:
Join us for a FULL-TIME opportunity with an OVERNIGHT schedule from Friday to Sunday, 10 PM to 8 AM, at a group home setting.

Key Responsibilities:
In this role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Delivering comprehensive nursing services to individuals requiring support within the INSIGHT program.
2. Offering guidance and expertise to staff on health-related matters.
3. Educating staff on health issues to ensure the well-being of individuals in our care.

Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- A valid nursing license.
- Flexibility in work hours.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills.

Additionally, candidates must be able to pass required training such as CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration (MAT), and other relevant certifications. Background checks will be conducted to ensure compliance with state regulations.
