We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to lead academic, physical, and enrichment activities as part of our expanded learning programs. As an Expanded Learning Coach/Sports Recreation Instructor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and be part of a dynamic team that promotes education equity and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain the emotional well-being of students.
  • Provide a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Be a positive role model for students.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that support school day learning.
  • Run community circles based on restorative practices.
  • Collaborate with students to support their learning and development.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree or higher, or 48 or more college units, or High School Diploma or GED and pass Instructional Aide exam.
  • Experience as a coach with a specialty in Soccer.
  • Ability to reliably commute to Oakland, CA.
  • Commitment to education equity and leadership.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
