Cardiac Care Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Intermediate Care Unit team at Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant. As a Cardiac Care Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Responsibilities:- Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
- Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
- Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
- Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
- Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
