Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology Operations team. As part of this team, you'll design, develop, and maintain scalable, highly available Information Technology Systems that meet business objectives and service requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, with experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise systems in multiple environments. You'll work closely with our security team to recommend, select, and implement security policies, procedures, and tools. Additionally, you'll manage and maintain Data Center systems, Enterprise Applications, and various management applications. Your expertise should include system performance monitoring, utilization, and trending to ensure system availability, reliability, redundancy, and sufficient capacity.

Responsibilities:
  • Recommend, build, and establish processes and procedures to maintain enterprise systems in multiple environments.
  • Recommend, select, and implement security policies, procedures, and tools in conjunction with the company's security team.
  • Manage and maintain Data Center systems, Enterprise Applications, and various management applications.
  • Monitor system performance, utilization, and trending to ensure system availability, reliability, redundancy, and sufficient capacity.
  • Administer and maintain system software to support the system environment.
  • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
  • Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
  • Coordinate support and maintenance activities with outside vendors and contractors.
  • Work with users and other personnel for problem resolution.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5-10+ years of systems administration experience.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required.
  • CompTIA Security+ is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related subject or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Microsoft and other Cloud environments.
  • Networking - Good operating knowledge of networking concepts: switching, routing, firewalls.
  • Deep understanding of Enterprise compute systems: VMWare ESX/vSphere data center virtualization technologies, Enterprise storage systems such as NetApp storage systems, Enterprise backup systems such as Veeam system backup implementations, Windows server domains, RedHat, Centos, Ubuntu Linux server.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $180,000

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
